Humanize a draft in four steps

No prompt to get right: paste, click, then read the result as it streams in.

  1. Paste your draft. Paste or type your text into the editor, or click "Try a sample".
  2. Choose a language. The language starts on English (US). Pick another spelling, Korean or another language from the list, or choose "Detect language" to keep your text in its own language.
  3. Pick a model and click Humanize. In English or Korean, choose Deep rewrite or Sentence Precise, then click "Humanize".
  4. Read it, then copy. Read the result as it streams in, then click "Copy as plain text".

Why swapping words does not get past a detector

Detectors do not read your text the way a person does. They score how predictable the word choices are. A detector maker says models like ChatGPT pick each next word in a "consistent and highly probable fashion". Human writing, by its account, is "inconsistent and idiosyncratic". Another detector maker says visible AI habits are only one signal among hundreds of thousands that it weighs.

Most tools only swap a word here or there. Light edits like that usually leave the pattern in place. A detector maker says the patterns it looks for "persist even if you change words around", depending on how deep the changes go. In a 2025 NeurIPS study, recent detectors held up better against simple paraphrasing, and on two detectors it raised detection.

You may already have asked a chatbot to make the text more human. In a 2026 study, rewrites prompted to sound "more human-like" were still flagged by detectors. One detector caught 64 to 80 percent of them, another 38 to 49 percent. Smoother text does not mean it avoids detection. A detector reads a pattern across the whole text, so changing the whole text moves a score more than adjusting single sentences.

How Akmon gets past AI detectors

For English and Korean, Akmon runs our own fine-tuned rewriting models, one for whole texts and one for single sentences. They are built to break the patterns detectors read, and they keep your meaning and facts.

You choose how far the rewrite goes. Deep rewrite is labeled "Best at passing AI checkers" and changes your wording and structure a lot. Sentence Precise keeps your meaning, facts and structure and still holds up well against checkers, so the text stays recognizably yours. Every mode shows Undetectability and Text quality stars, so you see the trade before you run it. Deep rewrite shows 5 stars for Undetectability and 4 for Text quality, and Sentence Precise shows 5 and 5.

Then work on single sentences. Click a sentence, choose "Rephrase sentence", and get three rewrites, with "More" for others. Click a word to swap it for a synonym.

What this AI humanizer fixes and what it leaves alone

Akmon rewrites the flat patterns that make a draft read like a template: sentences of one length, overused transitions and safe word choices. They become varied rhythm and phrasing.

Your meaning, facts and language stay, and paragraph breaks come back. Statistics, direct quotes, names and citations come through exactly as you typed them, and only the wording moves. Read the result before you use it.

Where it helps

  • You work on an article or landing page. Your meaning, facts and quotes come back as you wrote them.
  • You write blog posts. Your paragraph breaks come back, so the post keeps its shape.
  • A writing assignment came out of a chatbot. Pick Deep rewrite when passing a checker matters more to you than keeping your original wording.
  • Some weeks there is no time to start every paper from scratch. Humanize the draft you have: the meaning stays, so you edit instead of rewriting.
  • Your own writing came out stiff. Choose "Detect language" and it stays in the language you wrote it in, and "English (UK)" gives you UK spelling.

Languages and English spelling

Other languages work too. The language list has English (US), English (UK), English (Australia), English (Canada), Korean and 12 other languages. Choose "Detect language" and the rewrite stays in the language you wrote in. Every language on the list gets a whole-text rewrite, and the named models cover English and Korean. To click sentences and words, pick a language rather than "Detect language".

To humanise AI text in British English, choose "English (UK)" and the result uses UK spelling.

Your text and your account

Our privacy policy says the text you submit is stored on our servers, encrypted in storage and in transit. That lets it sync across your signed-in devices. You can delete single records, or delete your account to remove all of it. The policy also says the data the AI uses while it works is not kept after the request. Read the full privacy policy.

Use Akmon inside Claude or ChatGPT

Akmon also works inside Claude and ChatGPT, so you can humanize a draft in the chat where you wrote it. Premium includes 10,000 words a month in Claude and ChatGPT.

FAQ

Yes. Getting AI text past AI detectors is the job we built Akmon for. Our models rewrite the word-choice patterns detectors read and keep your meaning and facts. Choose Deep rewrite for the strongest result, or Sentence Precise to stay close to your own sentences.
